| Presently Quality Dental Care is a dental center
possessing three state-of-the-art operatories. Each operatory
has fibro optic handpieces, ultrasonic scalers, and light cure
units. Total armamentarium (equipments / instruments) needed
for each individual patients is sterilized, sealed and provided
at the chair area itself to eliminate the need for retrieval
every time from some other point. |

| One of the units in the operatory is equipped
with digital X ray (Digital Radiographs) and high-resolution
intraoral camera. Digital radiographs offer a number of advantages
over traditional radiographs. Probably the biggest advantage
is less radiation exposure for the patient. 1/10 radiation is
only required for obtaining image with a digital radiography.
The image production is immediate and there is no need for processing
film with chemicals, so it's more environmentally friendly.
Digital radiographs can also be stored on computer for easier
transmittal, retrieval and archiving. |
| Intraoral camera is a miniature camera which
is employed to show the patient the condition of the teeth and
the gums. The image appears enlarged on the LCD monitor and
on a large TV screen in front of the patient. So that the patient
can better understand the problem, the process to be carried
out as recommended by the dentist and finally the result achieved.
The images from this camera can be also stored and retrieved
later for any reference. |
